Is it just me, or does every game, sooner or later dissolve into zombie foes?  It happened in Halo (let’s face it, the Flood are basically zombies) you see it in Half Life (Headcrab zombies) Dead Space (again, zombies, just more alien zombies).  I know it’s the tried and true way to let you fight people in videogames while simultaneously letting you feel good about blowing them to smithereens (you *are* putting them out of their misery, after all) and allowing the AI to be dumb enough to beat at the same time.

So I went online to hunt up a list of different kinds of zombies.  And there’s a lot.  Like a super-lot.  Even more than I suspected, but as I read through the different lists I found I had pretty much seen each and every one of these zombies in situ.  Now, while cinematic zombies are classic (Loved Shawn of the Dead and 28 days later) i was looking mostly for videogame zombies, if I have time, I’ll mompose a list and post it
